Dear Amy, Carolyn, Gina, Stacey and Lori:

We are feeling happy (and relieved) after the launch of the Winchester A Step Up! We got so much positive feedback from the women during and after the party. People were really energized by the concept and by the work YouthHarbors is doing. Basically, they had a ball and that was the idea!!!

We wanted to be sure and tell you that we have so much respect for the work you have done. The concept is genius! All aspects of it are so clearly thought out, that is creates that fun feeling–a party with a purpose as we like to say. Everyone seemed relieved when they wrote that check at the door and didn’t have to feel like they were being hit up for the platinum level giver during the presentation. Whew! They could relax. Of course, we are hoping they will continue to give in the future. We have embraced your mission fully. We hope that you feel fulfilled knowing that there are many others out there that care deeply, and are motivated to make a difference. Each small change creates a sea of ripples, right?

Thank you so much for being so generous with your time, resources, wisdom, computer help, comic relief, and of course, your presence. It was so good to have both Amy and Carolyn walk through the door that night! Of course they also asked great questions during the Q & A to get things rolling. We appreciate the contributions all of you have made.

We had our wrap up meeting today and know the areas that need to be tweaked. It is all certainly a work in progress, but we feel we are off to a good start. We have really enjoyed getting to know you and look forwards to our continuing exchange and partnership.
